Hi,

So today, I have put together a few of my favourites that I have loved this past month, and some are my all time favourites too!

To hear why I love them all so much, please check out my youtube channel.

If you use any of the same products or know something that is similar that I should try, please leave me a comment, I'd love to hear about them, and from you.

Hope you're having a lovely day!

Looking for the perfect Artificial Flowers for your home?

Hello,

So today I thought I would tell you about a new company I have bought for the shop called 'Paper Whites' and I just love them!! They are artificial flowers, but what makes them so nice, are the unique vases that they display them in. They are on trend, and they bring out new ranges each season, so you can buy summer flowers in the summertime and winter flowers in the wintertime. Not only are they lovely to buy and treat for yourself, but they would make a gorgeous gift for someone special. They are good quality and are really affordable to buy, to add a little something special to any room in your house.

These are just a couple of my favourites;

HYDRANGEA WITH ROPE AND GLASS JAR- £39.50

ROSE GYPSOPHILA WITH ZINC HEART IN A GLASS JAR- £20.00

My Quick Everyday Makeup Routine

                                   My Everyday Makeup Routine

Hi!

So today, I decided to film, my everyday makeup routine. Ever since having Melissa the time I've had to get ready and do my make has kept getting shorter and shorter, but this routine just seems to work really for  me that I can do it really quickly, and it's so simple to do. I have used a lot of drugstore products, like finding time to get over to the city to buy the right shade of foundation, is impossible, with working and being a mummy to a very active 14month old! With not having time to buy the old favourites, like the Bobbie Brown foundation, it has made me go back to using the drugstore brands like Rimmel, and I must say I'm quite impressed with them, especially for the price you pay! It was always just going to be a short-term solution using the drugstore brands, but after using them for a while now, I'm now unsure as to whether to go back?! Whilst life is so hectic, it's nice knowing that I can buy something a little closer to home. I would use the internet, but I never get my shade right, and with being summer, my shade of colour will have changed. It has made me realise that before I was quite a makeup snob, not the case anymore! My opinion has well and truly changed, and that goes to show that you should always try something before judging!

New Trend Alert- Copper

Hello Lovely People,

I recently went to the Harrogate, home and gift trade show for work, and I saw, that a lot of companies were using Copper in their ranges. This trend is going to be big this Autumn/ Winter, and I'm sure you will see it in a lot of magazines and shops. At first when I saw it, I didn't like it, but then it started to grow on me, especially when I thought how nice it would be, with just little hints used here and there, like a pendant ceiling light over the dining table or kitchen bar/island, or a large bowl on the coffee table. I especially like the hammered effect, it adds some texture. I could imagine, having a rustic dining room table, with a copper pendant ceiling light, hanging over the middle. Then to dress a table, I would have black and white tableware, another trend that I just LOVE, and to put them together, ah just perfect!

What do you think of these trends? Have any of you bought into theses trends? I would love to know if you have, so please comment below.

I hope, wherever you are, and whatever you're doing, you are all having a lovely day!

Much Love

Hellooo Lovely People

Hellooo lovely people, welcome to my blog!

I've been reading blogs myself, for quite some time now, and I have always wanted to start one, but never have done, thinking no one would read it. Then I thought to myself, even if no one reads it, then at least; I have some kind of diary to look back on and relive the memories... So here I am, sat in my PJ's with a yummy hot chocolate writing my first ever blog. My hubby is sitting opposite me, my 14 month old little girl (Melissa Rose) fast asleep upstairs, my two Ragdoll cats (Zeco and Jinx) and Cocker Spaniel dog (Tilly) sat on the sofa in the living room with us, bliss!
Okay, so as you have gathered, I am married, with a little girl, etc.. but you don't know my name, so let me properly introduce myself! I'm Sarah-Jane Dawson, 26 years old, from a gorgeous little village, in the beautiful Ribble Valley, in Lancashire. I currently work for my Husband's family business, which is a Department Store, selling all sorts, from cookshop to DIY, yes, it really is full of everything you could think of. I am a buyer for the store; I buy for the Gifts, Handbags and Luggage Department, which I love! I have been doing it now for seven years, I can't believe how fast it has gone!! This year, we have been lucky enough, to be able to open up another store, in Skipton, Yorkshire. Me and my Husband (Stephen) designed and set it up, which has been challenging at times, especially with a new born baby, but at the same time, so much fun, we both learnt and gained lots of experiences, but I will go more into detail about that another time.
Buying for the store, helps give me an insight of what the latest trends are going to be for homewares, gifts, handbags etc.. by going to the trade shows, I get to see them before they hit the shops (brilliant eh?!) and hopefully I can pass this on to you, so you're in the loop too. Along with that, it will be about anything and everything, things I'm up to, things I'm loving.

I really hope you like it, and I hope that, wherever you are, and whatever you're doing, you are having a lovely day!

Bye for now! :)

Sarah-Jane
